V - IMV Chapter
The Indian Mission Vicariate (IMV) Chapter took place from February 16 to 20, 2025, at Passionists Jyotir Bhavan in Bangalore, centred around the theme “Together for Mission.” The Chapter commenced with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration led by Fr. Krzysztof Kowalczyk SDS, the Superior General. The formal inauguration of the Vicariate Chapter was marked by a lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness.
Fr. Maria Anthony provided an inspiring reflection on the four types of individuals on the journey of hope: the Wanderer, the Traveller, the Pilgrim, and the Missionary.
A significant highlight of the Chapter was the official announcement of the new Indian Mission Vicariate Leadership Team, which will succeed the outgoing IMV Leadership Team. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Alex Aseervatham, Fr. Benny Valiyaveetil, Fr. Chinnaiah Bellamkonda, and Fr. Lessmon Nongtdu for their devoted service and commitment to the mission.
The newly elected VI Leadership Team comprises:

- Fr. Kitboklang M. Umlong – Consultor & Treasurer

Tasked with leading the Vicariate in faith and service, the new team is called to guide with integrity, vision, and dedication. We pledge our prayerful support and full cooperation as they advance the mission’s objectives with renewed enthusiasm.
