On September 9, 2017, by 9 am almost everything was ready and the beautiful newly constructed seminary and its surroundings were ready to welcome the Bishop and guests for the joyful ceremony of the inauguration and blessing of the St. Joseph Minor Seminary. In front of the gathered assembly at the entrance, Fr. Raul Gomez, the Vicar General, officially inaugurated the seminary by unveiling the stone mark, and Fr. Krzysztof Kowalczyk (General Consultor) did the ceremony of cutting the ribbon. The house was blessed, and the chapel consecrated by Most. Rev. George Njaralakkatt, the Archbishop of Thalassery (Syro Malabar rite). The felicitation program after the Mass had an opportunity to congratulate and express gratitude to the people involved for the completion of the new seminary.
